At any given moment, each of us is granted the privilege + opportunity to make choices. I’ve grown to understand that life isn’t as much about the ‘right’ choice because it's the option that brings certainty, it’s about the ‘right’ choice because it’s in accordance with my inner values.  My best self is shows up when my inner thoughts + outer actions are congruent.

Why  fullCIRCLE?

Why  fullCIRCLE?

By definition, when someone comes full circle, he or she completes a cycle, returning to his or her beginning.

My journey, like everyone else’s, hasn’t always gone the way I’d hoped. It has, however, brought a mixture of joy, awe + inspiration alongside difficult life lessons - some I’m grateful to have survived.

While I’ve always had a clear sense of who I am, it feels as if I took somewhat of a side trip during the times I was driven by perfectionist tendencies + addiction to ‘busy’ - behaviors I’ve since learned were rooted in a fear of inadequacy. By the grace of God, I’ve recalibrated, re-discovered authentic self + identified my purpose. I know why I’m here. I’m grateful for the individuals God put in my space who repeatedly chose to ‘show up’, ‘step in’ + ‘commit’ to teach me.

What I see is a blessing yet sometimes feels like a curse

It’s been said that engineers have a particular mindset - a flexible intellectual tool kit that enables them to see systems as ebbing + flowing with everything linked and nothing stationary.

I see humans the way engineers see systems. And what I see is a society full of humans who are economically + socially victorious but spiritually defeated. We’ve created + continue to perpetuate a materialistic society where the majority of humans are more concerned about what they have than who they are. Affluence + prestige have come at the cost of our souls.

I feel compelled to relate my learning to the Biblical book of Joshua.

Joshua is a book about winning + losing. In short, it’s about how the Israelites won a series of battles and ultimately, the war. When the exhilaration of battle ended + real life set in again, an idolatry-focused culture persisted. They gained the whole land of Canaan, but lost their souls.

I’ve come full circle to so I can facilitate the restoration of the human spirit through coaching.

I connect humans + horses | Open gates to conquer fears | Restore authenticity + purpose

Engaging fullCIRCLE gives humans a chance to learn how to:

  • Define + embrace what’s enough in alignment with their inner values, not societal scripts

  • Live authentically + purposefully with their well-being + souls in tact

  • Live life slower so they can see God

  • Increase productivity by doing less

  • Shine their light as ‘human beings’ rather than ‘human doings’

While I could use this space to share all that I’ve
become professionally in the last twenty-plus years, I’d rather provide a candid recap of career highlights that illustrate what a ride it’s been:

  • Communications has been my calling for as long as I can remember.

  • I was a fiercely competitive swimmer and horse-crazed girl who hung up her suit + goggles but remains committed to being a student of horses and their power to teach.

  • I did what any focused human with goals does: pick a path (communications); acquire real-world experience (internships); use the experience (career).

  • My teeth were cut at an advertising agency on a national account first, followed by an opportunity with the PR team at UnityPoint Health to manage the “Biggest news story of 1997”: The birth of the McCaughey septuplets.

  • A few years into my career in healthcare PR, I earned a new title in my personal life: Mother.

  • Motherhood seized my heart. I launched my communications business and am grateful for the privilege to work from home while raising my three children.
  • A side trip to work at my family’s southern Iowa ranch for nearly six years offered impactful + memorable lessons from horses, cattle + Mother Nature, resulting in a return to authentic self.

  • The chance to grow my business and embrace coaching led me to certification in Equine Guided Coaching (EGE).

  • My journey with Emotional Intelligence - through my horses - led me to public speaking + training.

  • I continue to serve clients in the financial, commercial construction and service industries, in small to medium-sized companies.

  • My intention is to bring a heart of servitude, mindfulness, vulnerability + authenticity to every communications and coaching client.
